| Phillip co-leads the India Group and heads the IP & IT disputes team at Penningtons Manches Cooper a mid-sized UK law firm. Phillip has been a partner at Penningtons for 11 years and is a key member of the firm’s Technology, Financial Regulatory and Private Wealth Groups. Prior to Penningtons, Phillip was a Partner at various law firms including Davenport Lyons, Middleton Potts and Hill Dickinson.
Phillip is a Disputes Partner with an international practice specialising in commercial, banking/financial services, fraud and IT disputes. He has been advising on high profile commercial and fraud disputes for over 25 years with particular experience of shareholder and joint venture disputes and complex cross border cases. Apart from his disputes practice he has been assisting clients with a wide variety of India related legal mandates, whether India outbound or into India, for over 15 years. |

He is ranked in the India Business Law Journal International A List of International lawyers for Disputes, India inward and outbound FDI. Having grown up in India, Phillip is fluent in Hindi and frequently travels to India on business.
