Kishore Jayaraman is currently the India Chair of UKIBC (UK India Business Council) and a Member of the UKIBC Group Board since 2016. He is the former President of Rolls-Royce India and South Asia. Having served Rolls-Royce for 13 years as head of the region, Kishore has been instrumental in driving strategic focus and significant business expansions globally across the Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace, Defence and Power Systems. He was also the President and CEO of GE, spending 23 years as a leader in their Energy and Industrial businesses.

A strong proponent of technology innovation, he led the establishment of key strategic initiatives and executing on them across sectors and regions. Rolls-Royce’s Digital, Business Services and engineering capabilities in India that now contribute significantly
to global development projects were incubated over the last decade. Kishore has also led the formation and the growth of the company’s manufacturing and sourcing footprint in India through joint ventures with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Force Motors, as
well as other key partnerships.

Prior to Rolls-Royce, Kishore held diverse leadership roles across technologies and markets at GE for 23 years, culminating in his last assignment as President and CEO of GE Energy, South Asia. He has grown GE Energy significantly in the Gas turbine and Renewable energy space in South Asia whilst enabling the localisation initiatives through Engineering, Supply chain, Business Services and joint ventures. Kishore is at the helm of industry committees and associations – being a champion for Manufacturing, Sustainability and Strategic ecosystem evolution for the present and future.

In 2022, Kishore was awarded an honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by HMG, for his significant services to international trade and investment with a key focus on promotion of India-UK trade
