Subhodeep joined the UK India Business Council’s India office in November 2022 to lead advocacy on digital and data services. He brings with him over 9 years of experience in managing policy programs and driving strategic partnerships spanning areas of technology and trade. His professional experience has ranged from working on trade policy negotiations with the Ministry of Commerce in New Delhi to managing regulatory and public affairs strategies for U.S. based companies across two consulting firm stints. He has managed projects for a diverse clientele of Fortune 500 companies in the digital economy, retail and automobile sectors.
Subhodeep holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and has completed the Young India Fellowship from Ashoka University on a full scholarship.
He is an avid quizzer, likes to travel and write in his spare time. In 2016, he was a youth ambassador to the 2041 Climate Force’s global Antarctic expedition. He has also authored opinion pieces in media outlets such as Slate, The Economic Times and Financial Express.
